Add / Edit a Reversal

Specify the name of the Reversal. This name is used throughout nodegoat to identify this Reversal.

You can specify a color for the Reversal. This color is the default color of the Reversal and will be used for coloring in visualisations and highlights when no other color has been specified in the Project or Conditions.

Specify Conditions that are used for a Reversal.

Optional: In a multi-user Domain: Select the minimum clearance level a user needs to add / edit Processes in the Reversal.

Specify one or more definitions that describe the Processes in this Reversal. These definitions are exposed via the API.

A Reversal can be configured as a 'Reversed Classification' or as a 'Reversed Collection'.

Reversed Classification

Instead of identifying Classifications and assigning these to Objects, a Reversed Classification is used to define a multi-faceted Filter in which any number of parameters are defined. This reverses the classifying process as the definition of the Classification is identified by the exchange between parameters of the classification and attributes of the Object.

Select an option to classify Objects with 'None', a 'Type', or a 'Classification'. Select a Type or Classification.

Reversed Collection

A Reversed Collection is used to define a multi-faceted Filter in which any number of parameters are defined plus a Scope. Any Object or Category that is collected by means of these parameters will be displayed. Enabling the Template option will allow for the full traversal of the Scope and any of its values.

Enable a Reversal

To make use of a Reversal, you have to include it in a Description in the Object Type or Classification that you want to classify.
